YF-DN40 1.5 Inch Water Flow Sensor
The YF-DN40 1.5 inch water flow sensor is specifically designed for industrial use. Its plastic body houses a water rotor and a hall-effect sensor, allowing for accurate flow measurement. As the water passes through the rotor, its rotation speed varies depending on the flow rate. This information is then translated into corresponding pulse signals by the hall-effect sensor.
The flow sensor’s output is directly related to the water flow, with an increase in water flow resulting in a higher number of pulses.
Key aspects of the YF-DN40 1.5 inch Water Flow Sensor include:
- Hydrostatic pressures above 1.75MPa are considered acceptable.
- The operating voltage range must fall within the DC 5 ~ 24V limit.
- The insulation resistance is greater than 100M.
- Precise measurement from 1 to 120 liters per minute with a margin of error of only 2%.
- The flow pulses follow a certain pattern, where F is equal to 0.45 times Q, and Q is measured in liters per minute.
- The accuracy of the first measurement, which must be within ± 5% of the desired value, will be tested at room temperature for 1 hour after a period of 72 hours at a low temperature of -20°C.
- After being subjected to a high temperature of 85°C for 72 hours, the first measurement accuracy was found to be within ±5% of the value after an additional hour at room temperature.
- The flow rate of liquid can be easily controlled using a 11/2″ DN40 Plastic Hall Turbine flow sensor meter with a switch valve. This device allows for a range of 5 to 150L/min.
