MQ-4 Methane CNG Gas Sensor Module
The MQ-4 Methane CNG Gas Sensor Module is a good option if you wish to detect methane gases in your projects.
Using our MQ-4 Methane CNG Gas Sensor Module, you can detect compressed natural gas, methane, etc in the air. The module uses our MQ-4 sensor. By providing the interface through standard 4 x 0.1′′ header pins, it simplifies the interface to the sensor’s odd pin spacing.
Besides providing an analog output, it also offers a digital output that is easy to use. The MQ-4 can detect natural gas concentrations between 200 and 10000 parts per million. The onboard potentiometer can be used to set the maximum gas concentration beyond which a digital output is triggered.
With just 5V and the threshold set, you can start measuring the gas concentration in the air around the sensor! An onboard LED indicates gas presence.
