MQ-4 Methane Gas Sensor Module
Introducing the MQ-4 Methane Gas Sensor Module – a user-friendly device capable of detecting the presence of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and methane (CH4) in the air. Designed with convenience in mind, this module utilizes our advanced MQ-4 sensor while offering simplified interface through standard 4 x 0.1? header pins, compatible with odd pin spacing.
MQ-4 Methane Gas Sensor Module offers both an analog output, which reflects the gas levels in the surrounding air, and a convenient digital output. By adjusting the onboard potentiometer, you can determine the threshold for triggering the digital output when the gas concentration reaches a certain level.
Simply provide a 5V power source and set the threshold, then you can retrieve the gas concentration in the surrounding air from the sensor. Plus, an LED on board will indicate the presence of any gas.
The digital output can be conveniently connected to microcontrollers and other circuits, while the analog output can be linked to the ADC of a microcontroller for a broad range of sensor readings. This compressed natural gas (CNG) sensor is user-friendly and can accurately detect concentrations of natural gas (primarily Methane [CH4]) in the air.
The MQ-4 Methane Gas Sensor Module has the ability to identify levels of natural gas ranging from 200 to 10000ppm.
