ISD1820 Recording Module Voice Board

Introducing the ISD1820 Recording Module Voice Board, equipped with an on-board mic and loud speaker. This convenient module provides a simple solution for incorporating voice recording and playback into your project. It can be controlled either by the 3 push-buttons or with any microcontroller (e.g. Arduino).

The board has a built-in microphone and is compatible with any 8 Ohm Speaker. Your recordings will be stored in the non-volatile storage of the ISD1820, even when there is no power.

Utilizing the ISD1820 voice recording module and playback IC, this module is able to store a single voice message lasting up to 10 seconds in its dedicated analog flash memory. This ensures that the recorded message will remain stored even when power is disconnected.

The module is equipped with an electret microphone for message recording, as well as push buttons for making recordings, playing them back partially, or fully. Additionally, header pins make microcontroller integration a breeze and playback can be managed with a single digital pin.

Included in the package is a speaker with a resistance of 8 Ohms and power of 0.5W. It can be easily connected to the speaker output on the modules.

Buttons regulate how audio is recorded.

Press and hold the REC button to begin recording, then release it when you are finished.

To activate the trigger mode playback, simply press the button to play the entire speech.

To activate jog mode playback on the PLAYL Key, press and hold it until playback begins, and release to stop.

Jumper for RPL: control for loop mode, playback in a loop.

The FT Jumper allows for seamless control and playback of microphone audio through speakers.
