Up to YZC-131 3Kg Load Cell of pressure (force) can be translated into an electrical signal by this straight bar load cell (also called a strain gauge). The electrical resistance of each load cell changes in response to, and proportional to, the strain applied to the bar (such as pressure or force).
By measuring strain or load applied to a surface, you will be able to tell how heavy an object is, if the weight of the object changes over time, or simply to sense the presence of an object. Aluminum alloy is used to produce this straight bar load cell, which is capable of reading a weight capacity of 1KG.
The sensor has four lead wires that can be connected to the HX711 A/D Pressure Sensor. The sensor can be used with a power supply voltage between 5-10 volts and produces the output voltage as the force changes.
Sensor installation is also easy, one end must be fixed through a screw hole and the other end left floating. The label indicates the direction of gravitational force exerted. For the sensor to be protected from damage, it should not be pushed directly into the white plastic cover.
In electronic weighing machines, load cells are used to measure the load or pressure caused by the load. Most load cells follow the strain gauge method, which converts the force (pressure) into an electrical signal by hooking up four strain gauges in a Wheatstone bridge.
In order to measure the load value, we apply a load and the strain gauge resistance changes. As a result, the output voltage changes from the load cell.
