WEMOS D1 BCB with Mini USB
Characteristics:
The WEMOS D1 BCB with Mini USB allows you to power either your WeMos mini or WeMos mini Pro (refer to HCWEMO0002) with a single 3.7V lithium battery. It is equipped with a DC-DC converter that can boost the battery’s voltage to 5V, providing up to 1A of power for your WeMos mini and other shields. When the battery runs low, simply connect the shield to a USB power supply using a mini USB cable, and it will automatically recharge the battery. Two LEDs on the shield will show the charging status and when it is fully charged.
The WEMOS D1 BCB with Mini USB is now completely wireless, eliminating the need for a USB cable. Simply combine it with a battery shield and lithium battery, and you can place it anywhere you want.
- Access the lithium battery within its standard voltage range of 3.3-4.2V.
- The charging port operates at the standard 5V.
- When the charging process is finished, a green LED will illuminate.
- The red LED will illuminate during charging.
The designated ports for this project are as follows:
- Connect the lithium battery (3.3-4.2V) to port 1 (XH2-2.54mm).
- The charging port on this device uses a micro USB connector, which operates at 5 volts.
- The light is green when the device has finished charging
- The red LED will light up to indicate that the device is currently charging.
- J1: Sets the maximum charging current at 0.5A or 1A.
