MCP23017 16 Bit IO Port Expander Module
The MCP23017 16 Bit IO Port Expander Module boasts a fast IIC interface that accommodates frequencies of 100KHz, 400KHz, and 1.7MHz. With 3 address pins available, it has the capability to establish up to 8 unique addresses. This means that by utilizing two IIC buses, a maximum of 128 IO extensions can be connected through 8 modules.
