Introducing the TXS0108E Full Duplex 8 Channel Logic Level Converter Connecting a 3.3V device to a 5V system can be quite difficult, but this device solves the challenge. Its bi-directional design allows for easy conversion between 1.8V, 3.3V, and 5V logic levels on the same channel, ensuring safe voltage transitioning.
With the ability to convert 8 pins on the high side to 8 pins on the low side, each level converter is equipped to support a serial interface that is compatible with UART/IIC/SPI ports. This makes it exceptionally user-friendly.
This 8-bit non-inverting translator has the ability to utilize two configurable power-supply rails. The A port corresponds with the VCCA pin supply voltage, which can range from 1.2 V to 3.6 V. Similarly, the B port tracks the supply voltage of the VCCB pin.
The VCCB pin can accommodate a range of supply voltages from 1.65 V to 5.5 V. This is made possible by two input supply pins which enable bidirectional translation between voltage nodes such as 1.2 V, 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V, and 5 V.
