4-20mA to 5V Ultra Boost Converter
4-20mA to 5V Ultra Boost Converter simplifies interfacing your Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or any other micro controller with Industrial Sensors and Devices that have a 4-20mA output. In the past, connecting these devices with Arduino/Raspberry Pi has been challenging and complicated due to external circuits and the need for tuning to convert the current signal to an analog voltage. However, 4-20mA to 5V Ultra Boost Converter takes care of all that by converting the 4-20mA (or 0-20ma) current signal into a directly connectable 0-5V, 0-3.3V, or 0-10V analog output voltage. Plus, making connections is a breeze with the onboard screw terminal connectors!
Jumper settings for the input signal of 4-20mA determine the output voltage range.
- The J1 1,2 and 3,4 pins are both short circuit connected within the voltage range of 1.0 to 2.5V.
- The J1 pins 1 and 2, as well as pins 3 and 4, are both disconnected at a voltage range of 2.0-3.3V.
- The short circuit connections for J1 pins 1 and 2, as well as pins 3 and 4, are both at a voltage range of 3.0-5V.
- The J1 1,2 pin is wired in a short circuit, while the 3, 4 pin remains disconnected.

- The pins 1 and 2 of J1 are connected by a short circuit, as well as the pins 3 and 4. Both pairs of pins have been joined through the use of short circuits.
