The Drill Motor Lipo Cell Module, also known as the 4 Series 40A 18650 Lithium Battery Protection Board, features a balance function and a recovery capability – specifically AUTO Recovery. Additionally, the board includes 10 low load resistance MOS tubes integrated within it.

4S 40A 14.8V 16.8V Battery Protection Board offers a consistent output of 40A, with balanced current of 100mA, suitable for various devices such as electric drills, sprayers, LED lights, and low power inverters. If operating in warm conditions, it is recommended to decrease the load current.

The nominal voltage range of the 3.6V, 3.7V lithium battery (including 18650, 26650, and polymer lithium battery) allows for a charging voltage between 16.8V and 18.1V. 4S 40A 14.8V 16.8V Battery Protection Board functions seamlessly with a maximum continuous charge current of 20A. Additionally, the balanced version is ideal for starting currents up to 80A and powers below 135W for drills that require balance.

4S 40A 14.8V 16.8V Battery Protection Board is easily installable and can also be mounted on a battery bundle.

For the drill to start successfully, it needs either a three 15C-20C power battery or six 10C-15C power batteries. Note that ordinary 18650 batteries will not work for starting the drill.

Please adhere to the map wiring specifications of 0V, 4.2V, 8.4V, 12.6V, and 16.8V and avoid intentionally short circuiting.

When utilizing the brush motor load, it is recommended to attach a non-polar capacitor (with a withstand voltage of 25V or higher and a capacity of 10uF-100uF) to both positive and negative terminals of the motor in order to safeguard against reverse spikes that may cause damage to the MOS tube.

When using 4 groups of batteries in series, it is important to check that the voltage is consistent among each group. If not, please individually charge any batteries that may be lower before connecting them in series. During the Discharge test, if you notice a faster voltage drop in one of the battery groups, it may indicate a weak battery within that group.
