600mm FSR 408 Force Resistor Sensor
The 600mm FSR 408 Force Resistor Sensor can adjust its resistance based on the amount of pressure exerted on the sensing area.
At 2 feet long, this force sensitive resistor boasts a sizable sensing area of 0.25×24″. Brought to you by Interlink Electronics, it adjusts its resistance based on the amount of pressure applied. The greater the force, the lower the resistance. Its resistance reaches over 1MΩ when no pressure is detected. Capable of detecting forces from 100g to 10kg, this FSR offers a wide range of sensitivity.
The sensor features bread board friendly pins with a 0.1″ pitch, while the opposite side has a peel-and-stick rubber backing for FSR mounting.
While these sensors are easy to set up and ideal for detecting pressure, their accuracy may not be the best. They are best suited for sensing squeezing motions rather than being used as a scale.
