DHT22 D1 Mini Temperature Humidity Sensor
Introducing the DHT22 Mini Temperature Humidity Sensor Shield, designed for use with WEMOS boards. This module features a digital temperature and humidity sensor, adding essential measurement capabilities to your projects.
The WEMOS DHT11 Shield is specifically designed to measure temperature and humidity. It is fully compatible with both the WEMOS Mini and Mini Pro, making it ideal for stacking with headers.
This compact and stackable shield utilizes the widely-used DHT22 Mini Temperature Humidity Sensor to provide accurate readings. Unlike its DHT11 counterpart, the DHT22 offers a greater level of precision and a wider range of measurement capabilities.
By pairing it with a WEMOS board, this data can be transmitted through the internet and utilized for system control.
- The male pin header is available in a pack of two, with each header consisting of 8 pins.
- Two pieces of 1×8 pin black female header.
- Two pieces of 1x8pins stackable headers in black.
- This section outlines the specific details and requirements for the project.
- Heads were included in the stacking process.
- The data out on the shield is connected to pin D4 on the WEMOS D1.
- The temperature range is -40 to 80 degrees Celsius, with a margin of error of ±0.5 degrees Celsius.
- The humidity range is between 0 and 99.9%RH with an accuracy of ±2%RH.
- DHT22 Mini Temperature Humidity Sensor that detects temperature and humidity in the environment. Unlike its predecessor, the DHT11, this sensor offers a higher level of accuracy and can even be used outdoors.
- The DHT22 also contains a chip that can save the readings and subsequently send them to the controller.
- The sensor’s only downside is a 2-second delay in receiving data.
Some specific information regarding the technical aspects:
- The voltage needed is 3.3V for the power supply.
- The highest current used during conversion (when requesting data) is limited to 2.5mA. Humidity levels can range from 0% to 100%, with an accuracy of ±2%.
- The range of temperature is between -40°C and 125°C, with an accuracy of ± 0.5%.
- The sampling rate should not exceed 0.5 Hz, meaning it will only occur once every 2 seconds.
