A force sensor resistor is a material that alters its resistance in response to applied force or pressure. As the force increases, the resistance decreases. These sensors are straightforward to install and effective at detecting pressure. The sensor features two pins protruding from the bottom for convenient use on a breadboard. Its sensing area has a larger diameter than smaller sensors, resulting in a wider range of resistance values for larger forces.
