The GY-2561 TSL2561 Luminosity Sensor Breakout is a highly advanced light sensor with a consistent response throughout the visible spectrum. Differing from basic sensors, it accurately detects both infrared and visible light, closely mimicking the human eye’s capabilities.

Not only does the TSL2561 have the ability to communicate directly through I2C, but it can also easily detect light within a range of 0.1 – 40k Lux. The device also has dual integrating analog-to-digital converters (ADC) that simultaneously measure currents from two photodiodes.
