The KY-022 Infrared IR Sensor Receiver Module features the 1838 infrared receiving head, along with a built-in infrared dedicated IC. It is resistant to light and strong electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for use in environments with up to 500 lux light intensity.

Commonly utilized in stereo systems, televisions, video players, disc players, set-top boxes, digital photo frames; automotive sound systems, remote-controlled toys, satellite receivers, hard drive players, air conditioning units, heaters; electric fans, and other household electronics.

The IR Receiver Module, compatible with the Arduino, operates at 38KHz and is capable of receiving standard remote control signals. By programming the Arduino, you have the ability to decode these signals. With this device, you can create a universal remote control that includes a learning function.
