KY-031 Knock Sensor Module
As the name suggests the Knock Sensor Module produces the Digital output on the detection of Knock i.e. vibration stroke. Further, the change in voltage level can be manipulated to produce the desired output and can be used in a variety of applications.The Ky-031 Knock Sensor Module does exactly the same thing. It has a wire enclosed in a glass enclosure which gets shorted and complete the circuit if the vibrations exceed a certain limit thereby sending a signal on the output pin which can be read by your microcontroller such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi etc. You can set for time delay or the number of instances the output is coming in your program logic to activate the safety devices accordingly. This module can work on both 5V and 3.3V power supply and is extremely easy to use.
