LilyPad 328 ATmega328P Main Board
The LilyPad 328 ATmega328P Main Board 16M is a user-friendly micro-controller specifically designed for use in e-textiles and wearable creations. It boasts all the same functions as other Arduino boards, but with a slim, circular design that reduces the risk of snagging or bulking up. Its broad tabs also allow for easy sewing and connection with conductive thread.
The LilyPad is designed to be as small and simple as possible, achieved by using an ATmega328 with the Arduino bootloader and only essential external components.
The voltage range of this board is 2V to 5V and its generous pin-out holes facilitate sewing and connection. All pins, except for ( ) and (-), have the ability to command an attached input or output device such as a light, motor, or switch.
Each LilyPad is uniquely designed with generously sized connecting pads that make sewing them into garments an easy task. In addition, there is a wide range of input, output, power, and sensor boards to choose from. And the best part? They’re completely machine-washable!

- The newest LilyPad model now features automatic reset, making programming even more effortless.
- The reverse of the LilyPad now boasts a completely level surface!
- In order to prevent the header from protruding, we have implemented a surface mount programming connector.
- The current LilyPad model features the latest 8MHz ATmega328.
- Arduino 0016 is compatible with the Pro Mini Arduino 328 operating at either 8MHz or 16MHz.
- This setting is recommended for the new LilyPad 328.
