LilyPad Lithium Battery Module
Introducing the LilyPad Lithium Battery Module – a compact yet powerful power supply. Designed to blend seamlessly into your setup, this board boasts impressive features. One such feature is its compatibility with rechargeable Lithium Polymer batteries, known for their compact size and long-lasting capabilities compared to AAA batteries. Simply attach a single cell LiPo battery, turn on the power switch, and enjoy a reliable 5V supply for your LilyPad network, with a maximum output of 150mA. Plus, rest assured as it comes equipped with short circuit protection.
The board is equipped with a JST connector that can be used to connect our single cell 3.7V LiPo batteries. Additionally, it features terminals for charging the battery using one of our LiPo chargers.
LilyPad, a wearable e-textile technology, was cooperatively designed by Leah Buechley and SparkFun. Its creative design includes large connecting pads for easy sewing onto clothing. Multiple boards for input, output, power, and sensors are also available. And yes, they are washable – just remember to remove the battery.
