The PCF8574T IO Expander Module serves as a remote 8-bit I/O expander for the I2C-bus, with the capability to connect up to 8 boards for a total of 64 I/O ports. It includes an I2C pin header on one side and an I2C connector on the other, making it easy to connect to your development system. Additionally, the board supports I2C cascading, enabling multiple modules to be connected simultaneously by utilizing both the pin header and connector.
