Raindrops Detection Sensor Module
The Raindrops Detection sensor module has multiple functions, including detecting rain and measuring rainfall intensity. It can be utilized for various weather monitoring purposes and provides output signals in the form of AO.
The Raindrops Detection Sensor Module is a versatile tool for monitoring weather conditions. It can be connected to an Arduino, among other devices, and is capable of detecting rain and producing both fixed output signals and analog readings.
A printed circuit board, also known as a control board, is included in the module. This board collects raindrops and produces paths of parallel resistance. These paths are measured through the op-amp. When there is less water, the output voltage on the analog pin increases. On the other hand, when there is more water, the output voltage decreases. For instance, if the board is completely dry, it will cause a 5V output from the module.
Included in the module are a rain board and a separate control board, providing added convenience. It is equipped with a power indicator LED and features adjustable sensitivity through a potentiometer. The design of the module is based on the LM393 operational amplifier.
