RCW-0001 Micro Ultrasonic Range Module

The RCW-0001 Micro Ultrasonic Range Module is a versatile robot electronic with a 3.3-5v power supply and a blind range of 1cm. Its external control software is fully compatible with the HC-SR04, thanks to its specialized mediation chip. This ultra-small sensor has a compact design, making it ideal for use in tight spaces.

Listed are the primary technical specifications:

  • The voltage ranges from DC 3.3V to 5V.
  • The maximum induction angle is limited to 15 degrees.
  • The detection distance range extends from 1cm to 450cm.
  • The wiring on the board includes connections for VCC, trig (control), echo (receiving), out (unoccupied), and GND.
  • Please take note of the following information.
  • To prevent a high level, it is best to insert the module into the circuit board before powering on. If a high level persists, simply restart the power to resolve the issue.
  • RCW-0001 Micro Ultrasonic Range Module operates by utilizing a specific set of procedures to carry out its intended functions.
  • Upon initiating the IO trigger ranging, ensure that the signal reaches a minimum duration of 10 microseconds at the high level.
  • RCW-0001 Micro Ultrasonic Range Module automatically transmits a 40khz square wave consisting of eight bits and has the ability to detect the presence or absence of a return signal on its own.
  • The IO high level output contains a signal for returning. This Ultrasonic time is the duration of the high level, which is calculated from launch to return.
  • The test distance can be calculated by multiplying the time of high level by the speed of sound, which is 340 meters per second, and then dividing by two.

  • It is crucial to connect the GND pin before powering on this module, as neglecting to do so can have a negative impact.
  • The test area for the object should be at least 0.5m2 and as level as possible. Any unevenness could impact the accuracy of the results obtained during testing.
