TCRT5000 IR Photoelectric Reflective Sensor Module
Introducing the TCRT5000 IR Photoelectric Reflective Sensor module.
The IR reflective sensor Module utilizes the TCRT5000 IR Sensor to detect both color and distance. It is composed of an IR transmitter and receiver, with the former emitting a constant IR signal that is reflected by any obstacles and subsequently detected by the latter.

This versatile module is able to detect the color of a surface, distinguishing between white and black. Its impressive range allows it to measure distances from 1mm to 8mm, with a central point at approximately 2.5mm.
Additionally, there is a potentiometer on board for sensitivity adjustment. The infrared diode will continuously emit infrared light when the module is turned ON. However, if the reflected infrared light is too weak or there is no reflection at all, the receiver diode will remain OFF and the output pin (DO) will register as LOW.
