TCS3200 Color Sensor
The TCS3200 Color Sensor Module features a superior light sensor that can detect all colors by utilizing Red, Green, and Blue. Its pins are conveniently placed on 0.1″ headers, making it suitable for usage with PCBs, breadboards, or stripboards.
The module can be used in various lighting environments with the aid of four bright white LEDs, ensuring ample illumination for the tcs3200 color sensor.
The board’s pinout is clearly labeled as follows:
The first header positioned on the left side of the board.
Output frequency scaling selection input, in addition to S1.
The input for selecting the output frequency scaling (which includes S0) is available.
If the Output Enable is in a low state, then the module’s output will be activated.
Ground, also referred to as 0V, should be connected.
The second header displayed on the board’s right side.
Together with S2, the type of photodiode.
In addition to S3, the type of photodiode is also an important factor to consider.
The detection results in a square wave appearing, indicating the color intensity.
The power input should be connected within the range of 2.7V to 5.5V.
With the Photodiode type pins, you have the option to select the color of light that is being detected.
The type of photodiode used should be consistent throughout S2 and S3.
Red light only appears at a low intensity.
Blue light is present at both low and high levels.

Bright green light
By combining the reading of all three colors, any visible color can be identified!
