TDS Total Dissolved Solids Sensor
The Grove – TDS Sensor is designed to detect the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) levels in water, providing an accurate indication of its quality. This versatile sensor can be used in various applications involving water quality, such as measuring TDS levels in wells, aquariums, and hydroponic systems.
This is compatible with all Arduino Boards, thanks to its support for 3.3/5V input voltage and 0 ~ 2.3V output voltage. It also comes equipped with a waterproof probe, making testing much more manageable.
TDS stands for total dissolved solids. It is important to understand TDS and its significance.
TDS, or Total Dissolved Solids, is a measure of all inorganic and organic substances that are present in water. As the TDS value increases, so does the amount of dissolved substances in the water. Therefore, elevated levels of TDS may suggest an abundance of contaminants that could potentially harm our health.
