The USB to RS485 TTL Serial Converter Adapter FT232 complies with USB2.0 standard and is backward compatible. It also meets the standard of RS485. With its automatic data flow control, it enables direction control and can automatically detect and control data transfer direction with a Baud rate of 300-9216000bps. The serial signal data rate is also detected automatically.
The multipoint is supported and each converter provides the ability to connect 32 RS485 interface devices. Additionally, it includes TVS tube Interface Protection and USB self-recovery protection.
The USB to RS485 TTL Serial Converter Adapter allows for two-way communication between a personal computer’s USB port and the RS485 bus. It is powered by the USB and utilizes the FT232RL 75176 chip, accommodating up to 32 devices on the bus.
By connecting the 4 jumpers, the USB interface is linked to the RS485 interface. However, removing the jumpers allows for use of the USB interface as a TTL Level Serial port.
