The LilyPad Button Board For Arduino was created for the purpose of providing a low-profile button that is free of sharp edges. When pressed, the button closes and when released, it opens (or acts as a momentary push button).

LilyPad is a versatile e-textile technology designed for wearables. It features ample connecting pads that enable easy sewing onto clothing. Along with multiple input, output, power, and sensor boards, they are also machine washable.
